Translation

Ali Alizadeh has translated literary texts, mostly poetry, from Persian into English, often in collaboration with a notable Anglophone poet/scholar. Among his translations are those written with Dr. Kenneth Avery in Fifty Poems of Attar. A number of Ali’s translations were also featured in the short film and theatre performance A Sufi Valentine (pictured).
